If you are in some sort of edit, compile, check visually for perfection loop, then you can always just use the Ipad as a second screen. Why even use the app in the first place? You could edit and annotate on your computer without bloating your workflow with an superfluous iPad. Honestly, though, you probably aren't using your iPad to its fullest if you primarily view the document on the computer afterwards anyways. If you are that space conscious, just sync the file and delete the iPad version (which removes the local copy from the iPad). You have to have a local copy for editing on any app.
